This program is an excellent way for children to learn all about Gods love for them, and of course all about horses. Children will learn about horsemanship on the ground, through the use of miniature horses. The small size of our miniature horses are beneficial because they are exactly like horses, but less intimidating, making them perfect for ground work - leading, brushing, and safety! Children engage in team emphasized exercises, and find themselves learning valuable skills in a fun, and exciting atmosphere.
Each lesson is 1 hour, and includes:
~ Learning about Jesus, and the Bible
~ Learning about horses
~ A craft, coloring sheets, or games
~ Physical work with the miniature horses, learning basic handling skills through a variety of games, and obstacle courses
Children will be learning about:
- Jesus and the Bible
- Horse handling
- Safety around horses
- Grooming
- Horse feeding
- Horse care
- Horse body language
- And much more!
